When Target announced its store in Kailua on Oahu's windward side in April 2014, the press release pointed readers to targetkailua.com for information about the company's community support in Hawaii. What targetkailua.com was for
Target's 2014 announcement listed the address as the place to read about its community work in Hawaii: grants and gift-card donations to local organisations, contributions to United Way, donations to Feeding America member agencies and volunteer projects. Hiring ran through Target's own careers site, in-store kiosks and job fairs about three months before opening.
